Indian Air Force AFCAT July 2017 Registration Starts 4th June to 30th June 2016:- Indian Air Force has invited the application from the eligible candidates for the Short Service Commission and Permanent Commission in Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch. The candidates those are interested to join IAF need to register online from 4th July 2016 to 30th June 2016. There are many people those are here and willing to know about the procedure and other criteria this is the reason our team is here and brought the information. Candidates need to undergo from the AFCAT 02/2016. The AFCAT is the Air Force Common Admission Test.

AFCAT is the examination that always conducted by the Indian Air Force, the AFCAT always takes place twice in a year. The AFCAT 01/2016 notification was released in the month of the December 2015. This is the second phase of the AFCAT 2016.  The candidates must know that the registration is now going on will start the course in the July 2017. Course Commencing in July 2017

Flying Branch

  1. 202/17f/SSC/M&W (SSC for Men and Women)

Technical Branch

  1. 201/17T/PC/M (Permanent Commission for Men)
  2. 201/17T/SSC/M&W (Short Service Commission for Men & Women)

Ground Duty Branch

  1. 201/17G/PC/M (Permanent Commission for Men)
  2. 201/17G/SSC/M&W (Short Service Commission for Men and Women)

Educational Qualification

For Flying Branch: The candidates need to have the education that is required as graduation in any discipline from the recognized university with minimum 60% marks or have passed Maths and Physics at 12th  class.

For Technical Branch: The candidates need to have the graduation of four years engineering with minimum 60% marks and must have obtain Maths and physics in 10+2 level.

For Ground Duty Branch: Candidates need to have the graduation in any discipline with 60% marks or cleared the section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India. or B.COM Degree with 60% or MBA/MCA or MA/M.SC Degree in English, Physics, Mathematics, chemistry, statistics, international relations etc.

Age limit

The candidates need to have in the age limit that is required as

Flying Branch: 20 Years to 24 Years as on 1st July 2017 that is born between 2nd July 1993 to 1st July 1997.

Technical Branch or Ground Duty: 20 Years to 26 years as calculated on 1st July 2017 and born between 2nd July 1991 to 1st July 1997.

How to apply for the Indian Air Force AFCAT July 2017

  • Candidates need to visit in the Indian Air force Career website.
  • There is the candidate’s login, need to register first.
  • Then candidate need to click on Apply online AFCAT 02/2016.
  • Fill the registration form and upload the photo documents required.
  • Submit the application form and need to generate the application no or registration no.
  • Save it for the further use.

    I wanted to join the airforce after completing my btech in 2017
    but I came to know today that the registration process ended in june.
    is there any possibility of applying now
